Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including strength, mobility, and function.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and current best practices.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve patients’ physical abilities and alleviate pain.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- A Doctorate, Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
