Dear Occupational Therapy Professionals,
Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist with Lightning Therapy, you will be responsible for assessing clients’ needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities. You will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ strengths and challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ goals and needs
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine/gross motor skills, cognitive strategies, environmental modifications and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Provide education and support to clients and their families
- Document all assessments, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
